Hello! I’m Jasmon, your fun, red-head ESL teacher with a passion for helping students speak English confidently! Born in Kentucky (USA) and now based in Atlanta, I’ve taught English for 6 years, specializing in conversational practice, business english and exam prep (IELTS). My secret? I’ve been in your shoes: I learned Spanish the hard way and now speak it fluently, so I get the struggles of language learning! When I’m not teaching, I’m working out, watching films, exploring cultures, from living in Mexico to backpacking across USA, Europe and Central America. Let’s turn your mistakes into progress while chatting about travel, food, or anything you love! Relaxed and productive lessons! I have a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language and Anthropology, with a minor in English, from the University of Southern Indiana. Learning Spanish wasn’t easy for me at all. I spent years studying but not speaking enough, and I felt stuck at a B1-B2 level for a long time. Once I started actively using the language—speaking, listening, and making mistakes—I finally began to improve. That experience really shapes how I teach today. I have three years of experience teaching in classroom settings, I have 3 years of experience teaching ESL online.
