Heejung is hands down one of the best Korean teachers I've had. She creates such a warm and encouraging environment that makes learning Korean feel less intimidating and so much more rewarding. What I truly appreciate is how she helps me stay consistent and accountable without ever making me feel bad for making mistakes. She turns those mistakes into gentle, empowering lessons that stick with me. She always takes the time to acknowledge where I’m improving while also guiding me patiently through the areas I need to work on. Her feedback is always supportive, clear, and kind. With Heejung, you don’t just learn grammar or vocabulary, you gain confidence and motivation to keep going. Heejung 선생님 is a fun, encouraging and patient teacher. She prepared interesting exercises in our first class to better understand my level and also explained in detail grammar points that I had trouble with.

Every lesson I keep learning new things and building up my confidence in Korean! I love Heejung's friendly personality and her approach to teaching - slow (so I can understand what she's saying) and methodical and effective. Her patience is awesome.

My trial class with Heejung was great, she was very prepared with exercises and materials that helped us get to know each other. She asked me about my goals and determined by level. And I was able to speak even as a beginner thanks to her guidance :)

Heejung has some great materials and resources. Every lesson, I feel like I learn something new. She's also very good at assigning homework that will help you retain the material.
