Ishtar is a great tutor! She’s always prepared while also being relaxed and approachable! We get in plenty of laughs in addition to learning and practice. I really appreciate her corrections and her patience in giving me a chance to get out my thoughts, even when said thoughts come out a bit clunky. I really feel like I’ve been improving!

I LOOOOVEEEEE taking classes with Ishtar!! Such a great blend of conversation, corrections, and presentations with formal grammar practice and also sometimes homework which I really appreciate! Ishtar is an incredible instructor who has tailored our lessons to precisely what I need, and at my level. She splits the time between conversation and structured activities. She is patient with me and my skill level, which encourages me to continue working to improve. Ishtar is also very well educated and interesting to talk to, which makes our conversations quite enjoyable! I highly recommend classes with Ishtar!

I’m so glad I found Ishtar as my guide through the Spanish language. Ishtar is a wonderful, patient, knowledgeable teacher who is very invested in her students. As an educator myself, I really appreciate that she clearly puts a lot of work outside of lessons preparing materials for class and homework specific to her students. She’s helped me learn so much in such a short time, and I look forward to learning more with her!
