Ryogo

Just for context, I booked a lesson on Italki to better improve my Japanese that I have been learning for about 2 and a half years. I had a trial lesson from Ryogo, I'll probably book another lesson again next week, he's very friendly, very thorough and very understanding. Just from the trial lesson alone, I actually learnt a couple new words and phrases, and a new grammar point that was new to me, something that textbooks never taught me but still seemed very useful. Whenever I didn't know something, or if there's a better way to rephrase something, he'll type it in chat, so that you can look back on it later, which I find extremely helpful. He also seems to have a structure in place too, which makes me think he'll probably find out what level I'm at and go from there. I'm definitely booking another lesson in the near future. Highly recommend Ryogo if you're looking for someone like what I just explained earlier.

Working with Ryogo is always fun, even when we are learning/ reviewing a difficult concept. I really look forward to every lesson! いつもありがとう！:)

Ryo’s enthusiasm makes lesson engaging and fun. His teaching style is entertaining while still effective, and I would highly recommend him!

Having lessons with Ryo always makes me more motivated to learn Japanese. He balances fun with learning, so even when what we are studying is difficult, it doesn't feel so bad.
