Miriam

Miriam's energy, enthusiasm, and openness make each lesson something to look forward to. She gives me a lot of leeway to make mistakes (and I make plenty of them!) without interrupting the flow of the conversation to correct all of them. Because of that, I'm willing to plow ahead and keep trying. The bottom line is that Miriam is a wonderful teacher.

Fantastic teacher. Miriam is very patient and helpful with a friendly bubbly character. First lesson was a great experience.

She gives me plenty of opportunities to speak but I really appreciate that she shares her perspective and experiences about whatever topic we discuss. I love that she prepares topics and discussion questions for every lesson. It gets me to think and speak in Italian about a variety of things and makes the lessons challenging and productive.

Miriam is a great teacher, she has a way of putting you at ease and taking the pressure off. Learning a new language definitely feels more fun and less like a struggle because of her. Making it seem effortless is the mark of an experienced and skilled teacher. Highly recommended

Here’s how good I think Miriam is: we took nearly a two week break for the Christmas holiday and when we did our lesson today, it very much felt like catching up with an old friend. I was actually surprised how easy it was to jump back into the conversation with her. She is just terrific.
