My name is Debalkew Kiros. I was born and raised up in Ethiopia, Addis Ababa the capital city of Ethiopia. I have Bachelor degree on Education from Addis Ababa University. I have served as a chemistry teacher for 36 years. Amharic is my first language and I Speak intermediate Tigregna. I also speak fluent English.
I am a father of two daughters and a son. After a successful completion of 36 years of serving students of my country, I am now a proud father of three independent children and a retired teacher with plenty students making me proud. I spend most of my time enjoying with my wife & grand children. I also do physical exercises a lot. I love exploring new things all over the world.Ich als Lehrkraft
I have the ability, the time and the experience to achieve a successful Amharic teaching. In short, I will be the light in students journey to Amharic language excellence. Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
1. For parents who are interested to teach their kids Amharic, my three decades of experience gave me the ability to handle students of different ages.
2. For students that are coming to Ethiopia for a job, I will select conversations related to their job and their day to day activities.
3. For students who are friends with, Dating, engaged/married with an Amharic speaker, we will learn all the basics of Amharic step by step and I will make sure that they understand not only the language but also our culture.
4. For students that want to learn Amharic for no specific reason, I will enable them to explore Amharic Alphabet in detail and all the 4 language skills.

My two years in the university led me to a better understanding of my country and our beauty in diversity. It was an big milestone towards independence and a bright future.

Bachelor - ChemistryAfter a practical experience following my Diploma in Chemistry, I have decided to update my self and progress my academical profile by adding bachelor of education in Chemistry in one of the most renowned academical institutes in the country, Addis Ababa University. It was another enriching, challenging experience. It once again added to my social understanding and development greatly.

We explored the song “Ras Mule Yeselet Lij”, working on lyrics and pronunciation, and he always helps with recordings and old-school romanization I truly appreciate. As Proverbs 24:3 says, “By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established.”
