After more than 30 lessons, I am confident to say Pia is one of the best teachers I have met. I came into these lessons being scared of criticism. Pia does it such a way, It doesn’t feel like criticism. Even my Swedish family/friends have said I have improved significantly fast & have gained much confidence with my words. Pia has made learning feel fun. Every lesson is tailored to previous things we’ve discussed or something she thinks I would find interesting. Something i’ve always looked for in a tutor is for it to just feel like i’m at home; like we’re just chatting. Pia does exactly that, and often we turn lessons my lessons into a chat about our lives and experiences. (which I am confident is what gave me better fluency!) Pia really feels like family and I have never been so impressed with myself and the confidence she’s helped me gain with my swedish comprehension and speaking.
