Hoi!
Ik kom uit het Midden-Nederland, maar woon inmiddels al lange tijd in het prachtige Amsterdam. Ik heb rechten gestudeerd en ben altijd al gek op taal geweest. Daarnaast, bezoek ik graag musea en theaters en houd ik van lezen en lekker eten. Ik vind het heerlijk om nieuwe culturen te ontdekken en anderen te leren over mijn eigen cultuur.
I'm from the middle of the Netherlands, but have been living in the beautiful Amsterdam for a long while now. I studied law and have always loved linguistics. Besides that, I love to visit museums and theatres, to read and I enjoy good food. I enjoy discovering new cultures as well as showing my own to others.Ich als Lehrkraft
Als docent ben ik relaxed, maar zal geen grammatica fouten laten gaan. Ik probeer een zo normaal mogelijke gesprekssituatie te creëren en zal je ondertussen verbeteren in de chat.

Cathaijne is an excellent teacher and helped to prepare me for a trip to the Netherlands. Her style is relaxed and low-stress; she is easy to talk to. Our conversations flowed easily, even as she made suggestions and corrections that helped me to improve.
She was always ready and prepared for our lessons and I appreciated her positive and fun approach. I'm so grateful to her for all that I learned. Would 100% recommend!

Ik heb mijn eerste les met haar gehad en het was geweldig! Ze heeft de les leuk en duidelijk gemaakt, alles goed uitgelegd en aangepast aan mijn niveau. Ik voelde me meteen op mijn gemak en heb al veel geleerd. Ze gaf fijne feedback en motiveerde me om beter te worden. Echt een aanrader!

Thank you so much! I enjoyed the conversation and the words and pieces of grammar we discovered to have room for improvement are very useful to me. I liked the method of correction via the chat keeping the conversation fluent (vloeiend).

Cathalijne offers a structured lesson with text and questions to drive the conversation and practice with interests in mind. This was a great way to practice before the lesson and provides context to the language (and mistakes) to help with retention. She is also fun to talk to! Great lesson!
