秀夫先生には週一回のレッスンでお世話になっており、現在『Genki II』の中盤まで着実に進んでいます。 先生の指導の特徴は、単に教科書の文法をこなすだけにとどまらない点です。私の「日常生活の中で使える会話力を伸ばしたい」というニーズをしっかり汲み取ってくださり、『Genki』を軸としながらも、日常場面を想定したオリジナルの会話練習を豊富に作ってくださいます。そのおかげで、学んだ文法が「生きた日本語」として自然に身についていく実感があります。 また、体系的かつ非常に細やかな指導スタイルが印象的で、文法の細かいニュアンスも丁寧に解説していただけます。特に古文や漢字についての深い知識をお持ちで、現代語との繋がりや背景まで説明してくださるので、日本語への理解が格段に深まりました。 日本語を「ただ覚える」のではなく、「本質から理解する」ことを大切にされている先生だと感じています。着実に力をつけたい方に、自信を持っておすすめできる先生です。

Hideo-sensei was patient and I had the feeling that he prepared in advance to plan and tailor my first lesson to my situation and needs as well as my interests. It was my first time attempting to talk in Japanese with somebody else, and I was very pleased with my first lesson with Hideo-sensei. Professional, diligent and easy to understand.
