Hello there! I come from Shanghai, China. I used to be a structural engineer with more than 20 years of experience in multinational companies and am now a full-time professional Chinese teacher with extensive teaching experience.
I love to travel around the world and have been to the USA, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Serbia, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Montenegro and Herzegovina. I like to communicate with people from different cultures and share different perceptions of the world. Teaching Chinese is exactly a passion for me and I have taught hundreds of students of all levels from all over the world for more than 5 years. When I help my students start from scratch and can finally communicate freely with Chinese people, I feel a great sense of accomplishment.

I had my first Mandarin lesson with Ping today, and I was genuinely impressed. Her teaching style is incredibly seamless—everything flowed naturally, making it easy to stay focused and engaged. She explained concepts clearly and with patience, always adjusting the pace to match my level.
The quality of her teaching material was outstanding—well-organized, practical, and perfectly suited to a beginner like me. The lesson struck a great balance between structure and conversation, which made the experience both effective and enjoyable.

In just two months, I went from not speaking Mandarin at all to feeling confident enough to travel in China and give a best man speech in Chinese, all thanks to Ping.
She is an incredibly kind and patient teacher who will absolutely get you to where you need to go in your Mandarin journey while having a ton of fun on the way. Can’t recommend her enough!
