Γεια σας! I’m Rania, a native Greek teacher passionate about blending language with authentic culture and practical business skills.
With an MBA and banking experience, I specialize in Business Greek—helping professionals master formal communication and industry-specific vocabulary. My 3+ years of teaching focus on adults seeking confidence in real-life scenarios, from coffee chats to boardrooms.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me exploring history books, dancing traditional dances, or cooking spanakopita—because learning Greek should be as rich as our φιλοξενία (hospitality)!

As a teacher, I focus on enjoyable learning, designing lessons according to each person's preferences, expectations, learning style, and available time.
In addition to my strong connection to the Greek tradition, as a folklore dancer for many years, I follow a holistic approach to cultural learning.
A language learning journey is beyond learning words and grammar. It is implementing the knowledge while practicing the language, getting feedback and clear grammar explanations, correcting mistakes, and continuing to practice.

The Greek language, tradition, history, music, and gastronomy are different aspects of Greek culture that are mutually influenced.
Lessons are designed on this basis.
By considering the language connected to the other aspects.
Based on a personalized learning plan, I design every lesson by combining carefully selected resources such as literature, videos, music, and everything according to the student’s preferences. and personally created material, like PPNT presentations, PDFs, audio, etc that fit best at my student's learning style and goals and help them progress.

Rania is one of the best teachers I have had the pleasure of working with on Italki, and in any language. Using well put together presentations, as well as books and articles she has written on Greek culture and traditions, Rania is always well prepared to discuss specific, interesting topics with me and these constitute the backbone of our lessons. Rania has also provided me with spot on film, TV drama and book recommendations suited to my interests and tastes, and these add an enjoyable out-of-the-class room dimension to our lessons, supplementing and enhancing what I am learning one-on-one with my teacher.
