My name is Beer, I'm a native Dutch speaker from a village called Heerhugowaard in The Netherlands. In this area most people speak really standard Dutch, including me. I've gotten invested in languages and learning them after I started learning Finnish myself. I started this because my girlfriend lives in Finland and I am in the process of moving there. I graduated high school a couple years ago and have been mainly working as a kitchen builder with my father. Besides this, I have worked a handful of other jobs, including delivery and digitization. Besides working and languages I spend alot of time playing drums, playing (video) games and working out.

I have good first hand experience with what it's like to learn a forgeign language on your own. On top of this, I have very much been enjoying helping people learn Dutch. It started with helping my girlfriend in her Dutch study, and this enjoyment that I got from assisting and guiding someone in their Dutch study, made me decide to start exploring the idea of becoming an actual online tutor. And so far, I have been enjoying my time as a tutor.

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

My lessons will be mainly conversational practice. I believe this will be very effective at improving your Dutch skills. Besides conversational practice, I can also offer you explanations of your most-frequent mistakes. These can be mistakes that you make during our lessons, or mistakes that you make during your own study. I can help a wide range of students, from beginner to advanced. For beginners, it can be really handy if you're not a complete beginner, so that we can start practising right away. Things that I find most important in my lessons are: Fun, Language-Exposure, Practice, and Well-Timed Explanations. Besides the language learning, I enjoy discussing interesting topics.
