¡Hola! I'm Raquel and I'm passionate about languages and communication. I've lived in seven countries and speak six languages, which allows me to connect with students of all cultures and ages.
My background is my guarantee of excellence: I have a degree in Hispanic Studies, a Master's in Spanish and professional experience at the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE) and the Cervantes Institute.
Furthermore, my training in Social Integration provides me with the pedagogical tools to successfully teach children and teenagers.
I'm cheerful, curious and patient. My goal is for you to enjoy learning Spanish as much as I enjoy teaching this wonderful language.
With over 10 years of experience, I offer professional, dynamic and empathetic instruction.
My time at the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE) allows me to explain the language with a depth you won't find in standard textbooks, making it ideal for adults looking to perfect their Spanish.
At the same time, my creativity and patience make me the perfect guide for young children, enabling them to learn effortlessly.
I believe education is a two-way street: the teacher learns, and the student grows.

Very good introductory lesson, I personally struggle to think on the spot when speaking Spanish but Raquel was a very welcoming person which made it a fun and enjoyable experience - with a further setting up on the next steps made easily understandable.

La primera clase de hoy con Raquel fue muy dinámica. Entiendo por qué muchos estudiantes quieren aprender español con ella. Tiene un conocimiento muy sólido del idioma castellano y sabe encontrar el equilibrio entre aprender de manera efectiva y, al mismo tiempo, divertirse y mantenerse motivado. Durante la conversación también fue muy interesante ver su pasión por aprender nuevas culturas e idiomas. Además, me gustó mucho su paciencia, a pesar de que mi comprensión auditiva del accento castellano fue un poco difícil de eschuar. En general, la clase de hoy fue muy divertida. See you later!
