I am a native 46-year-old Norwegian man. I have closer to two decades of experience teaching Norwegian, both to children and adults. On other plattforms and directly from a language school. Already when I was in my early 20s, I worked as a substitute teacher at middle schools while studying.
I live with my family in Thailand, but spent my first 36 years in Norway. I have an 8-year-old daughter whom I love above everything else on earth. As a person, I am curious and always seeking to learn new things myself.Ich als Lehrkraft
I try to find the best possible way for YOU to walk the path. I enjoy seeing you as an individual grow. My specialty is pronunciation and test preparation. I used to practice music for quite some time and have a keen ear for differences in sounds. Over time I also developed the ability to describe and illustrate how to achieve those sounds to speak correctly.
Over the years I developed dozens of different teaching techniques that cater to the different learning styles. I think one of my strengths is that I see exactly where you’re at and what you are struggling with. I always appreciate honest feedback to make our classes even better. All my teaching methods have been developed through a decade of trial and error, and even after such a long time, new methods occasionally emerge as a result of teaching. I use method that are targeted at each individual person to maximize learning potensial. In other words there is no program that fits all. Everything that we do have to be rooted in your specific needs and goals.
If you show up late to class I expect a notification. If I hear nothing from you I will wait for 20 minutes and then leave the class completely.Mein Unterrichtsmaterial

I just had my first Norwegian lesson with Bill and it was a great experience. He’s very friendly and creates an environment where you feel comfortable speaking without fear of being judged. He’s excellent at identifying your goals and what you need to work on, and the lesson felt very well structured. It’s clear that he’s a professional teacher and knows how to guide you properly.

Det er oppmuntrende å oppleve at vi allerede kan føre mer komplekse diskusjoner, selv om vi til dels fortsatt mangler ordforrådet til det.
