I’m Vanessa, an English tutor with a background in philosophy and a passion for language and human connection. 📚
Studying philosophy taught me how powerful words really are. They don’t just help us communicate, they shape how we share ideas, understand others, and understand the world. 🌿

As someone who learned English from scratch, I understand how difficult and frustrating it can feel at times. That’s why my lessons are designed to guide you through that process step by step. I plan each lesson around your individual learning needs and the areas you want to improve most. Before or during our first lessons, we’ll talk about your goals and what kind of practice helps you learn best. From there, I’ll create a plan that stays flexible (We can adjust it as you make progress or discover new interests).

Over the past two months, I have been improving my fluency and confidence to communicate in English with colleagues from the UK, the US, and Switzerland.
My personal advice: combine one structured class with one free speaking and pronunciation session, it is the perfect balance.
