Hello!
I'm a certified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and I have also worked as an interpreter. Recently, I completed a TEFL Certification as well. Languages and teaching are my passions and I am so excited to share them with you! At the end of the 2020 school year, I left my job as a teacher/interpreter and am now working as a dancer in NYC.Ich als Lehrkraft
My caseload as an itinerant teacher of the Deaf included an incredibly diverse group of students which developed a strong set of teaching skills in me. Additionally, my own experience of studying languages allows me to provide you with some of the best instruction. I am confident you will make great improvements!
I strongly urge students of ASL to seek out instruction from and connections with the Deaf Community. The ultimate goal is for you to thrive in those environments and I would be honored to be a stepping stone in that journey! I use selections from the Signing Naturally curriculum as well as my own lessons and activities. I love providing authentic learning experiences rooted in real-world context. My goal is for you to "think" in ASL and feel confident in using the language fluently.

Kevin's the best. He's good at filling the class time with activities that are interactive, but also very flexible if you have something you want to learn that week. He really knows how to cater the class to his students.

Today was our first class without using voice. It was a challenging and fun exploration of both receptive and expressive sign within the context of our daily schedules as well material that Kevin had prepared on the same topic. As always he created a really informative, helpful, and engaging class.
