Hi and welcome! I'm native Russian speaker + Italian teacher + I speak English, French, a bit Turkish. Former TV editor who now helps people survive Russian grammar—basically the same stress, but less tears involved.
I love music (studied academic vocal, but then decided to stop torturing neighbours), sport & existential crises. I host a podcast in Russian about inspiring women, wrote a book about femme fatale.
Also, I'm part mermaid 🧜♀️ Freediving, swimming, anything with water... Oh, and I sail.
Fun fact: Moscow is a "port of five seas" thanks to Soviet engineering. Ridiculous? Yes. Love it? Absolutely.
Lessons will be surely very boring and painful. Dark humor upon request
I strive to build my lessons around each student’s interests, needs, and goals, creating a learning process that feels both effective and enjoyable. For me, learning a language is much more than memorizing grammar or vocabulary — it is a way to discover new ways of thinking, better understand other people and cultures, and expand the way we see the world.
I enjoy creating lessons that go beyond textbooks. I often recommend podcasts, documentaries, interviews, and lectures, because authentic content helps language come alive. In our lessons, we talk not only about the language itself, but also about history, culture, psychology, travel, and everyday life.
I am so pleased that Alisa spoke clearly and a little slower for me. This helped my understanding enormously. I am looking forward to improving my vocabulary in our future conversations.

I hadn't spoken Russian in years, so it was stressful for me, but Alisa was very helpful and the conversation went smoothly. Thank you !

Alisa is an outstanding teacher! She is patient, kind, and engaging. I have learned so much from her, and our lessons always fly by. I can't recommend Alisa highly enough, and I look forward to taking more lessons with her whenever our very different time zones allow it.

I've taken many classes with Alisa now, and she has been very patient but also pushes you to learn the material by checking your knowledge throughout the lesson and not just blowing through topics. She pauses to reteach things that may not have stuck to ensure I'm not lost in the lesson. This keeps me serious about learning but she does it in a caring way where the atmosphere is still positive. Great teacher!
