I genuinely enjoy interacting with people and helping them practise and learn the unique and beautiful language that Finnish is. I have a warm and easy-going character and you will feel comfortable talking with me, even if you are shy or new to the language. When I am not teaching, you can find me in nature, doing sports or practising music. I have been tutoring Finnish for the past 6 years. I am happy to accept both children and grown ups as my students, and I am comfortable teaching both beginners and advance students.

Nelli is a very energetic and encouraging teacher. I really liked the way she spoke at an almost natural speed because that’s not what I can get from textbooks, and I need to get used to it. I wasn’t so confident about my listening and speaking skills, but I felt motivated when she gave me some encouraging words!
I’m looking forward to learning more with her.
