Debora Echevarria

Debora is the best teacher on iTalki!!! I never dreamed I could speak as well as I do now, and that is truly a credit to her. She is so funny, kind, and easy to talk to. Throughout the class she discretely writes down common mistakes and takes the time to go over them at the end of class for you to comprehend and internalize everything. She's listed as a community tutor but is incredibly astute when it comes to questions of grammar or culture. If you are undecided on wanting to work or live or just learn more about Spain or Latin America, her exposure to both is really an unexpectedly hard to find asset. On top of everything, she genuinely cares about her students. I was so nervous when I first started speaking, but now I look forward to every lesson. It's akin to catching up with a long time friend.
