I am Armin and I love languages. Throughout my whole life I have been learning many languages, for instance Japanese, which I have taught to beginners and intermediate students at so called Folk High School (VHS) in Germany during my studies in linguistics. I have been living in Japan for a brief period of time in 2005. Today, I am working as a programmer and AI-designer. I am a native German with academia level language skills (scientific publications). I love to travel, to write poems and stories, to present and to act as an amateur actor. I believe, we are all story tellers.
As a polyglot, I would like to help you develop methods to leverage the knowledge of all of your languages and dialects in learning German. Of course it is perfectly fine, if you are monolingual. Professionally, in language teaching, I own a certificate for language teaching to adults specializing among other things in teaching writing systems. Here, as a teacher, I intend to develop materials and routines which will help you most achieve your goals in learning German. We will identify those linguistic structures in German together, which are most alien to you given your possibly multilingual background. It is those structures which are usually hardest to learn.

Der Lehrer hat eine Website für diesen Kurs gemacht. Heute lerne ich deutsche Wortpräfixe und vergleiche sie mit Englisch. Das ist sehr verständlich. Das ist richtig gut gemacht. Das würde ich jedem empfehlen.
