Dongni Liu is a great teacher. She's patient and helps me when I'm struggling to say something. I feel like I get to talk a lot and each lesson goes by very fast.

I like how Dongni Liu came prepared with a story for us to read together, and then we discussed it. I felt like I got practice reading as well as talking naturally. I can't wait for my next lesson :)

So far, I’ve had three classes with Dongni, and I've really enjoyed my time learning with her! From our first meeting, she took the time to understand what my Chinese goals were, and proceeded to walk me through different learning methods to see what style best suited my needs. Despite my Chinese being very rusty, she has been very patient and helpful. Dongni has a balanced approach between giving me space to work through a problem on my own and stepping in to explain something more thoroughly when I'm stuck. I also like the materials she uses in class such as the HSK textbook and mandarinbean.com - I have been studying Chinese for some time, but I’ve never been exposed to mandarinbean.com, it’s so useful. You can turn on and off the pinyin and hover over a word to see the English translation if need be - it's such a great resource! I highly recommend booking a lesson with Dongni, you will not be disappointed. 谢谢老师，我们继续学习中文吧! :)
