I live in Dandong, the largest border city in China. Standing by the Yalu River, I can see the mysterious country across the shore—North Korea. Though Dandong is small, it attracts some foreign tourists, most of whom come to catch a glimpse of the neighboring country from afar. As a Chinese teacher for foreigners with years of teaching experience, who has been consistently studying Korean and English (and can teach in both English and Korean), I truly understand my students’ feelings and needs. For beginners—are you afraid to open your mouth, worried about making mistakes? Don’t be! I will patiently repeat, practice, and encourage you just like a mother would, helping you speak up with confidence. 淑玉 is an excellent teacher. we had a great free-flowing conversation about a variety of interesting topics, and she patiently stopped to write down and explain parts I didn't understand, like various 成语 and other slang. She has a great temperament for teaching and is very pleasant to practice conversation skills with. Highly recommend!
