I’ve been taking German lessons with her for almost a year now, and I feel like it’s definitely time I leave her a review here. What I appreciate the most is how well she adapts to my learning needs. We learn in German, but whenever something gets a bit too difficult, she explains it in English, which really helps me understand things better. She also has a great method that includes revisiting what we’ve already learned, and that has helped me a lot to actually retain the material. We don’t focus only on grammar, but also on vocabulary, so the lessons feel really well balanced. I also like the pace a lot. It’s challenging, but in a good way. We keep a steady rhythm that kind of pushes me to stay consistent and actually study. If it were slower, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be learning as much. Overall, I’m really happy with our lessons. I’ve already recommended her to other people, and I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a good German teacher.

Ira is an excellent teacher! She reached out to me beforehand to ask about my level and goals. During the class, she adapted to my learning style and was very patient with my very beginner German. She didn’t interrupt me and waited until I finished my sentences before correcting me. She was kind, so I didn’t feel nervous or anything — and that really helps when you're trying to learn and practice. Also, she wrote down the sentences I was struggling with, which helped me a lot.
