This was my first grammar lesson with a teacher and Tomoya-san really helped me a lot. It was insightful go through Genki book with someone who understands it well and that is giving me a framework for my homework/self-study time.

I highly recommend taking Japanese lessons with Tomoya-sensei. He is a fanatastic teacher and it is great learning with him. He is very diligent in his lessons and always happy to answer questions and you get a lot of chance to practice your reading, listening and speaking skills. Furthermore, his structured course and approach to learning grammar and vocabulary with an exercise book is extremely valuable and you always feel you learn a lot from each and every lesson.

Being patient and kind, Tomoya sensei delivered a really learning experience, especially since I am still struggling with Japanese learning and cannot maintain a fluent conversation.

Tomoya-san is a very polite teacher that did a very good job working within my current Japanese ability and helped me to understand the content and our conversations very well. He was great at explaining concepts I didn't catch naturally and helped me to understand how my Japanese is being perceived to a native. Thank you!
