Hi, I’m Agathe - I’m 30, French and I started to teach French nearly ten years ago while living in London. During my studies - a BA in Literature and Arts, followed by a Master’s in Film & TV, I also had the chance to live in Melbourne and Madrid. I’m passionate about traveling and learning new languages, and I love sharing that passion through teaching!

I focus on conversational French because I believe the best way to learn a language is through immersion. Plus, I’ll share useful tips and strategies tailored to your goals, so you can keep practicing outside of our lessons! Whether you're preparing for a trip, an event, or just want to practice everyday conversations, we can role-play “real-life situations”—I’ve found this method incredibly helpful in my own language learning journey. With my literary background, we can also work with texts to refine pronunciation. Additionally, we can use paintings or other visual materials to spark our conversations, adding a creative twist to your language practice.

I love how Agathe continues to challenge me every single time that I have a lesson for instants I wouldn’t really consider myself to be a strong French speaker how ever she will challenge me by having me read and listen to articles that are a little above my love home and I’m really liking this because it’s allowing me to understand the language a lot more fluently frequently and in a better sense. Over the past couple of months, we’ve been experimenting with different learning techniques in little different conversational techniques. For instance, we used to start off with reading a book or describing a painting, or a photo, and now we’ve moved to listening exercises and which I guess will give me a prompt to listen to, and there’s a bunch of exercises related to the listening exercise 10 out of 10 highly recommend
