Anshi

I had another great lesson with Anshi. She is always very prepared for the lessons. She uses a variety of exercises. Sometimes we do role play, other times she has me read a story and work on translation and grammar, other times she has me work on written Hindi and vocab or do conversational practice. The lessons are a perfect balance of structure and flexibility. She provides me with written notes for the lessons and a Google doc to help me practice throughout the week and is great about following up on past exercises. She is very punctual for the lessons and always gives me extra time past the scheduled class until she feels satisfied that I have had a good lesson. Even though I have been learning Hindi for 6 years, she helps to stretch me out of my comfort zone with the language even more to help push me towards the next level of proficiency. I see improvement with every lesson. I already have future lessons booked and am looking forward to even more!

I attended an advanced-level Hindi conversation session with Aanshi, and it was a wonderful experience. She guided the session very smoothly, encouraged me to express myself freely, and helped refine my vocabulary and sentence structure. Her explanations were clear, and she created a comfortable space where I could confidently practice advanced Hindi. The session was extremely helpful and exceeded my expectations. I truly look forward to learning more from her. Highly recommended.

Anshi keeps the sessions interesting and practical with real life scenarios and role-play. I love how I can orient the session according to my interests and needs as we speak.

This was my 6th and final session with Anshi. While I was excited at the beginning to work with her—especially as it was my first experience with a tutor—I am not fully satisfied and would not book more sessions. • I often had to chase her for the recap documents after our sessions. The last two times, I didn’t receive them at all, and once I received a very short and inaccurate one after waiting for two weeks (it covered something we didn’t actually go over in the session). • Twice we scheduled a session and I prepared accordingly, but on the day she changed the topic/scenario. • Her microphone quality makes it difficult for me to understand her clearly. • She sticks closely to her session plan, focusing heavily on role play. I would have preferred a more personalized approach. Overall, her sessions may work well if you are comfortable with freestyle lessons and minimal follow-up.

Anshi is great teacher, making sure to adapt to my goals and needs while keeping the atmosphere light and joyful. Felt like talking with a friend — caring and dedicated to help me progress.
