Καλώς ήρθες! I’m Stella, an avid language learner of Greek origin. I have a background in Communication and experience in multicultural environments. Being a Greek tutor and conversational partner allows me to combine everything I love: language, culture, and authentic interaction, in the most rewarding way. I aspire to become a sign language interpreter someday, and to deepen my understanding of neurodiversity in order to open up even more pathways for communication and accessibility. I started German as an expat at 32 — with 0 prior knowledge. At my first job in Berlin, I tried to ask for annual vacation days and ended up applying for 22 years of leave instead, managing to crack up even the stricter supervisor with my broken German. I am aware of the challenges and vulnerability this otherwise intriguing process entails. Let’s navigate this journey together in a safe, respectful way. I am an advocate for open communication. Don’t hesitate to ask anything — whether it is a word you’ve never heard before or a request to slow down the pace. I will adapt to your learning style, guide the conversation when needed or patiently give you space to think and express yourself. I adapt to the level, needs, goals and interests of each language partner. I do not offer grammar lessons or expert-level specialized instruction.
