I am so thankful for the motivation Teacher Sohyeon gives me in learning Korean. My lessons are the highlight of my week. I especially appreciate Teacher Sohyeon's ability to discuss and present topics that are of interest to me. She is genuinely curious about my interests and uses them to ignite fun discussions and stretch my Korean vocabulary and situational speaking. It’s been 40 lessons since my last review and… wow, what a journey! Since studying with Sohyeon, I’ve been making consistent progress in Korean learning. Her approach is what makes the difference: she never gives up, always put fresh new information in every lesson but still testing if old knowledge is there, giving a lot and also asking a lot - as a good teacher should always do! When I have Korean classes I always want to give my best cause I know that for all the effort I put, Sohyeon will put the double to make sure I grow and learn! Definitely a 10/10 for me!

Teacher Sohyeon is a fantastic teacher. She knows the Korean grammar well and can explain them in a way that you can understand. We have a lot to talk about each week and no topic is too insignificant or silly. I feel more confident to try and explain my thoughts in Korean each week.

I've been taking lessons from Teacher Sohyeoun for over 5 years and the lessons have been very enjoyable - During this time I have also achieved a TOPIK L5 in my first (and only) attempt at the TOPIK II without much specific exam practice, just short a few points from L6. I highly recommend her lessons - if you put in the work you'll find that you can go very far. She's a teacher who will go as fast as you are capable of going.

Teacher Sohyeon always structures each lesson really well and adapts it to exactly what I need at the time. I really appreciate how thoughtful and flexible she is in tailoring the lessons to my goals. Today, she even helped me prepare for my upcoming Korea trip and gave me lots of useful suggestions and practical advice. I always come away from our lessons feeling like we’ve covered exactly what I needed. 😊
