Hi everyone! I’m a Jamaican medical intern living in Argentina. I love supporting others on their language journey. I myself, moved without speaking the language, so I know how tough it can seem but it’s not impossible. I’ve learned many helpful techniques I now share with others. If you want to learn with someone who’s been there and done that, you’re in the right place.

My teaching style would be tailored to fit my students needs . Having been a student myself , I know the different struggles a student may face when learning a new language. Patience is key, it is also extremely important for me to create a friendly , comfortable environment , where students know it is ok to make mistakes .
Mi técnica de enseñanza estará especializada en las necesidades de cada estudiante. Tengo en cuenta los desafíos que estos pueden enfrentar cuando se aprende un nuevo idioma ya que tuve que pasar por el mismo proceso. *Vocabulary lists, so students can amplify their vocabulary
*Grammar, so that students can have proper tools to speak fluently
*conversation practice to increase fluency
*listening comprehension, where students will get used to listening and understanding
*Pronunciation improvement

A few months ago I booked a trial lesson with Tiwanna and it was so exciting and fun I knew I wanted to take more lessons with her, however my schedule did not allow. Yesterday was my first official lesson with Tiwanna and I must say that I am throughly pleased. She is a superb teacher. Her approach to teaching is fun, exciting interactive and non-threatening. She gives you plenty of cues/hints to help you comprehend and retain the information taught in the lesson. I am learning so much about the language and the culture. I cannot wait to schedule more lessons with her. She is truly a beautiful person both inside and out.

Tiwanna is an excellent tutor. She is very energetic and motivating. I’m able to relax and be in a mode of learning without feeling stressed to be perfect. Her style of instructing allows me to realize learning Spanish doesn’t have to feel like a chore or unattainable task.
