Hello! My name is Nobu, and I am from Nagano, Japan.
I studied Economics at University and began my career as a banker. Later, I transferred to Indonesia, studied bahasa Indonesia, and supported Japanese companies expanding into the local market. After that, I founded my own business in Ethiopia and later established a company in Japan, where I currently manage several projects.
Through these experiences, I have used Japanese, English, bahasa Indonesia, and Amharic.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy coffee, exploring cultures, and connecting with people from different backgrounds. I look forward to sharing not only the Japanese language but also the culture as well.Ich als Lehrkraft
As a teacher, I value creating a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable speaking and asking questions. I believe mistakes are an essential part of learning, and I encourage students to practice without fear.
My lessons are highly customizable. For beginners, I can explain grammar and vocabulary in English (or Indonesian) to make learning easier. For intermediate and advanced learners, I focus on natural expressions, pronunciation, and communication skills used in real-life situations.

My lesson style is flexible and goal-oriented. A typical session begins with a short warm-up conversation, followed by focused practice such as dialogue, reading, or role-play, and ends with personalized feedback. I adjust the pace and content depending on your level and goals.
For daily conversation, we practice real-life scenarios like ordering food, traveling, or casual chatting with friends. For JLPT preparation, I provide practice questions and strategies, focusing on speaking and vocabulary. Nobu-sensei is a very pleasant and patient teacher, we had a great conversation. He has a fascinating background and speaks Bahasa and Amharic.
