My name is Lana and I come from Germany. I'm born Ukrainian but have lived in Germany for 25 years. I speak 4 languages on a native speaker level with my speciality being that all of my four languages also phonetically sound native-like without any accent-interference. I speak English (BrE-RP), German, Ukrainian and Russian. I am polyglot with a passion for languages or anything to do with linguistics. I also speak Swedish while in addition currently also learning Finnish, Japanese and Norwegian. I've had a passion for languages since early childhood, always pretending to speak English at the age of 6 :) This is me in a nutshell. I hold a Bachelor of Education degree with German and English being my majors. I am almost finished with my master thesis in German linguistics in which I'm conducting a comparative analysis of German, Ukrainian, Russian, English, Swedish idioms. I pride myself on my communicative skills but also on my passion and joy to help others awaken this passion in themselves. While working on my M.Ed degree, I have worked at my university first as a research assistant and tutor, later as an adjunct lecturer since 2017 and have gathered an incredible amount of teaching experience in both English and German. I believe in the beauty of making mistakes and not being afraid of them. I strongly believe in a stress-free learning environment in which learners can spread their linguistic wings and start learning to fly without being afraid of being laughed at or being judged. I believe in a Task Based Language Learning approach in which my students mostly focus on using the language while having fun with it rather than drilling grammar rules: first - they talk, then the grammar falls into place by itself.Mein Unterrichtsmaterial
