The first lesson with Rick was exactly how I have imagined it and hoped for. We have discussed my goals and plans in regards of Dutch, he was encouraging me to speak Dutch and overcome my fear being afraid to make mistakes. He has prepared a very nicely structured introduction lesson which was not only visually very good looking but also included some reading activitities, and even vocabulary practice. He is super patient, keeps asking many questions, and is trying to be creative. I can certainly recommend Rick as a Dutch teacher, especially if you are looking for someone who can help you to improve your speaking skills and give you confidence to speak!
