I’m Marc, a French-American tutor who speaks English, French, and Spanish. I grew up in Lyon, studied international relations at Sciences Po, and spent a year in Chile traveling across Latin America. I’ve always loved languages and communication, and I enjoy helping people feel confident expressing themselves. Outside of teaching, I’m passionate about music, I play guitar and I love climbing, skiing, and spending time outdoors.

As a teacher, I’m patient, friendly, and adaptable. I’ve worked in academic support with middle and high school students in France and taught guitar to preschoolers for nearly ten years, which taught me how important it is to make learning enjoyable and personal. My goal is to create a relaxed environment where students feel safe making mistakes and can build confidence step by step. I focus on clear communication, encouragement, and adapting each lesson to your needs and goals.

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

I teach both English and French to children, teens, and adults. With young learners, I focus on making the language fun through conversation, games, and topics they enjoy. For exam preparation, especially the TOEIC, I help with listening, reading, and test strategies. For adults and professionals, I focus on real-life communication meetings, emails, and everyday conversations. My lessons are flexible, personalized, and centered around helping you feel comfortable and confident using the language.
