I'm 33 years old and have extensive teaching experience. In the past years I've taught Italian to newly arrived foreign young adults in Italy, and English and Spanish to preschool and primary school children. I currently tutor high school students in language subjects.
Ho 33 anni e diverse esperienze come insegnante. Ho insegnato italiano a ragazzi e adulti stranieri appena arrivati in italia, e inglese e spagnolo ai bambini della scuola primaria e dell'infanzia. Attualmente svolgo tutoraggio sulle materie linguistiche per ragazzi della scuola superiore.
I'm an energetic yet gentle and patient teacher. It's fundamental for me to empathize with my students and understand their learning styles and interests, and use those as a starting point to make my lessons more engaging and effective.
Sono un'insegnante energica ma allo stesso tempo dolce e paziente. Cerco sempre di entrare in empatia con i miei studenti e capire il loro stile di apprendimento, nonchè i loro argomenti di interesse e partire da quelli per rendere le lezioni più attraenti ed efficaci.
My approach is communicative. In my classes, I try to encourage students to hypothesize about the language (active learning) and to overcome shame through a new understanding of mistakes. These, in fact, won't be corrected immediately by the teacher, as they are a useful part of the learning process. Only at the end of the lesson will there be a feedback session where students will have the opportunity to self-correct.Mein Unterrichtsmaterial
