Torsten

This was an initial session, and Torsten gave a good 'vibe' - he helped me feel relaxed. He made simple and clear grammatical points, and helped me speak more German than I am used to (and that's the point!). I am very happy to continue taking lessons with him.

Torsten is a really interesting guy! He speaks clearly and seems to have an easy time adapting his language lessons to individual levels (for example, when we first met, I was processing a bit slowly and he soon adjusted his German to make the lesson more accessible. Now that I'm more comfortable chatting with him, he naturally raises the level of the conversation, which keeps things really engaging). The modality we use is mostly conversation practice, and he's naturally chatty, which makes the hour easy and candid. Highly recommend!

So far I‘ve had 16 advanced conversational German classes with Torsten. I would fully recommend him! Very open to any topic and helpful with feeback, explanations, and examples to better understand gramatic, context and etimology. He is also understanding and willing to find the best solution to fit schedules and learning goals. After 5 weeks, I feel much faster and more confident with german skills.

Great teacher, understands where to correct and where you are having issues. i enjoy my lessons with Thorsten as he listens to what I need help with and prepares materials thereafter. See you next week!

Ich bin mit dem Unterricht bei Torsten sehr zufrieden. Torsten ist immer freundlich, geduldig und hilfsbereit. Besonders schätze ich, dass er sich immer Zeit nimmt, alles verständlich zu erklären und bei Fragen sofort hilft. Vielen Dank für den großartigen Unterricht und die tolle Unterstützung!
