I am a Berlin-based communications manager working in the music industry. I am a classic TCK: Childhood in London, French by education, culturally Berliner and legally Brazilian, with a Honduran mum. I grew up speaking 4 languages at home (French, English, Portuguese, Spanish) and reached full fluency in German since moving to Berlin at 14. I am also comfortable in Italian, since I worked and studied there, too!
My professional background is as eclectic as my cultural one: I've worked in corporate finance, education, psychology, and in arts and entertainment.

I've taught a variety of topics in a variety of contexts. I've been a public middle school English teacher in the outskirts of Paris; I was a volunteer French teacher for a marginalised population with no knowledge of French; I was statistics TA for Psychology students; and I have helped many people improve their skills one-on-one. My English sits comfortably between British and American: I learned it in London, have American family, and spent every summer in the U.S., so I can help you shape whichever accent you prefer. I’m open to all learners, but I specialise in advanced students who want to sound clear, confident, and nuanced—especially in international or business contexts.
In French, I teach all levels with a metropolitan accent.
I create an immersive, conversation-based experience where you start thinking in the language. Lessons focus on what you actually care about. I had a great lesson with Nanda. She made sure to speak at a level I could understand and asked about my language goals. She always had very interesting questions to keep the conversation going. She also helped me a lot with vocabulary I didn’t know or had forgotten, and since she speaks so many languages, I could easily say things in another language and she always knew the word. I also felt very comfortable during the lesson, which really helped me practice the language. I would definitely recommend her!
