Hello! I'm a native speaker from Canada with a Master’s Degree in Education, a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education, TESOL certification, and more than 7 years' experience teaching English professionally to adults in South Korea at the university level. I’ve been using Italki myself since 2016 to learn languages, mainly French and Korean. While I will adapt my classes to suit your needs as a student, a standard conversation class would look something like this:
~Warmup and small talk~
~Agree on a conversation topic or grammar point to practice~
~Conversation (me asking you questions)~
~Feedback given at the end of the lesson~
I will focus on having you speak as much as possible. While you speak, I will record any mistakes or suggestions, and we will spend the last 5 minutes of our lesson reviewing those suggestions.Zeugnisse
