Hello! My name is Andy, and I’m German tutor from Kenya. I’m a friendly, patient, and open-minded person who enjoys helping others learn and grow.
I’m very interested in languages and communication, and I enjoy meeting people from different cultures. Teaching allows me to connect with others while helping them build confidence and improve their skills step by step.
In my free time, I enjoy swimming, acting, and dancing. I especially like listening to podcasts because it helps me relax and stay motivated. I’m passionate about helping students improve their speaking skills and gain confidence using the language in real-life situations.
I understand that learning a language can feel stressful, especially when it comes to speaking. Many students know a lot of vocabulary and grammar but feel nervous, shy, or afraid of making mistakes. I’ve been there too, so my goal is to create a comfortable, supportive, and relaxed learning environment where you can speak freely and improve step by step.

120 hour International TEFL course - Teacher record - 2025I acquired my TEFL certificate after successfully completing a 120-hour TEFL training program that focused on the fundamentals of teaching English as a foreign language. The course covered essential areas such as lesson planning, classroom management, teaching grammar and vocabulary, pronunciation, and effective methods for teaching speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
