Curiosity and a love for languages have shaped my journey—graduated in Chinese language and literature, I’ve bridged cultures as a technical interpreter and taught Chinese in a non-profit setting. As a journalist and head of Communication at a public museum, I thrive on sharing stories and connecting with people from all walks of life. My passion lies in making language learning enjoyable, using humor and openness to turn challenges into opportunities. I will be both serious and humorous, depending on the topics we will tackle. I consider lightness a positive value, both to help in setting up a nice relationship and to promote easy learning. At first, we would need to get to know each other. I let "students" know me a bit more, then I would mainly let them choose the content and guide the conversation, for I think the best way to become fluent in speaking a language is to dismiss the fear to make mistakes and launch oneself into the practice.
The "student" ultimate objectives for taking these conversations and their preferences on which issue to be discussed together are basic, crucial starting points for me.
