I'm Lerma Jane V. Gornal. I'm 24 years old. I’m a Licensed Professional teacher from the Philippines. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education, major in English, and I am also a TEFL-certified instructor, which makes me well-equipped to teach English Learners like you. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, keeping journals, and playing the flute. These hobbies keep me balanced and give me energy that I can apply during my class, which my students can relate to.
As a teacher, I make the lessons feel like a conversation, not just a plain lecture. I value the interests and needs of my students. I'm an organized teacher, which involves giving clear slides and handouts, but I'm also flexible enough to switch gears when my students need extra help. I'm patient and understanding with my students and genuinely care for their progress; thus, I offer encouragement, rewards, and even constructive feedback.
