Chinese with Ben

Ben ist sehr gut vorbereitet und arbeitet sehr professionell. Er hat es geschafft, mich zum Sprechen zu bringen, mich auszuprobieren. Erst hatte ich Sorge, Fehler zu machen. Dieses Gefühl war jedoch schnell verflogen, denn Ben holt einen genau dort ab, wo man steht. Ich habe viele „Fehler“ gemacht, aber es kam mir nicht komisch vor. Ben hat sie nicht als Fehler deklariert, sondern nur verbessert oder Vorschläge gegeben. Es ist ein Prozess… das habe ich heute noch einmal mehr verstanden. Der Unterricht war sehr interaktiv und mein Kopf glüht 😄 . Ich hab in der kurzen Zeit so unglaublich viel gelernt! Danke Ben für deine Geduld, dein Einfühlungsvermögen und deine Professionalität 🙏🏻 ! Ich freue mich unglaublich auf viele weitere Stunden und bin glücklich, mich endlich getraut zu haben!

You have the meticulously acquired skill of reading a student, using the words that person knows to build confidence, then adding new concepts with facial gestures, hand motions, and props. Lessons with you feel like mini-celebrations! And your explanation of yin and yang with HSK 1 vocabulary was simply masterful. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, expertise, and teaching gifts with us.

I initially hesitated to book 60 minute classes (2x30 minutes) as a beginner, fearing I wouldn't be able to concentrate for that long. But... overthinking isn't always helpful! Today, I had my second 60-minute lesson and it was fantastic again! More time, more relaxation. It's so much fun 😃 . Ben is an attentive listener and manages to keep me progressing and wanting more. My vocabulary has increased enormously in the last few days! Since they're all very useful words and expressions, I can immediately integrate them into my daily life. So functional! Interest is the best teacher! Ben connects what I've experienced with what he has planned for the lesson. He's flexible, creative, and incredibly supportive. He has so much teaching experience. Excellent class and brilliant teacher. I live in a country with a different time zone otherwise it’d have class with Ben way more often. He prepared several exercises to better understand my language level and pointed out some areas of development for me. I’m looking forward to having class with him again.
