Hello, I am a native Mandarin speaker currently living in Singapore. I come from a Chinese–German family and am familiar with navigating between different languages and cultures. Living in a multicultural environment has helped me better understand the challenges faced by language learners, especially beginners. I enjoy supporting learners as they build confidence in using Mandarin in everyday situations.

As a Community Tutor, I focus on helping adult beginners learn Mandarin in a clear and supportive way. I am confident in using English to explain basic Mandarin pronunciation, grammar, and sentence structure if the learner needs. My goal is to make Chinese more approachable and to help students develop a solid foundation at a comfortable pace.

My lessons are structured and learner-focused. We concentrate on practical daily Chinese, basic grammar, and guided speaking practice. Lessons are adjusted according to each student’s level and learning needs, with an emphasis on clarity, repetition, and gradual progress.
