Hi! My name is Samuele and I am a native Italian speaker. I grew up in a small town in central Italy, where I learned to appreciate the value of preserving a language. I developed a passion for teaching languages during the final period of my philosophy studies at my local university, and I started giving private lessons to foreign students. I lived abroad for one year in Germany, where I learned the basics of the German language, and I also spent an extended period in Cambridge, UK, where I improved and perfected my English. I am an avid reader and movie-goer. In my spare time, I also love acting, both in Italian and in English.

My main influence as a teacher is the communicative approach, which developed in Europe and the UK during the last century. This method places the student at the center of the learning process. The student is the protagonist of the lesson, while the teacher acts as a mediator between the learner and the language. Moreover, I strongly believe in showing students that learning a language is a rewarding and enjoyable experience, not a frustrating one. The satisfaction that comes from realizing your communication skills are improving is truly unparalleled.

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

Conversation plays a central role in my teaching. I help students develop the ability to choose the right words for the right situation, to use the appropriate register depending on the context, and to express themselves with clarity and confidence. Through dialogue, role-play, and practical scenarios, students gradually build fluency in a natural way. At the same time, grammar, vocabulary, and idiomatic expressions are carefully integrated into each lesson. I believe that structure and spontaneity must work together: a solid grammatical foundation supports confident communication.
