Γεια σας! Καλωσορίσατε στο προφίλ μου! Hello to everyone! Μy name is Panagiota Papadimitriou. I am a professional online Greek teacher. I was born in Greece and Greek is my native language. I started learning English at the age of 7. So I am very fluent in English. Since my childhood, I wanted to be a teacher. So I followed my dream and I studied in Pedagogical University of Athens. Personally I am an outgoing person. I like meeting people from different countries. I have a lot of good friends from all over the world. I graduated from the Pedagogical Kapodistrian University of Athens. In my university I had many lessons on how to maximize student’s potentials and make the lesson interesting and efficient. I also had attended seminars on Psychology and on new teaching models. I also have the Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Michigan. I speak fluently both of English and Greek. For the last 8 years I have been teaching Modern and Ancient Greek and until now I have successfully taught over 200 people from different walks of life. In the class we will use various books - depends on the goal of the student reaching the level of fluency the students desires ranging from A1 -C2 level . We will work in all aspects of language in reading, speaking, listening and writing so the student is prepared to face any challenge in the Greek language or to acquire a certification as the Greek Certificate. Panagiota is the best teacher ever!
Thanks to her, I got an excellent score on my C1-level exam (Γ1 – Άριστα)! When I first started lessons with her, I had a basic understanding of the language, but my vocabulary was very limited, my grammar needed work, and I couldn’t write without using a translator. With Panagiota, I started speaking confidently about all kinds of topics, writing on my own, and even reading advanced books and newspapers. I totally recommend her to anyone who really wants to learn Greek and get top results in exams!

I started lessons with Panagiota in August 2021. At our first lesson, Panagiota introduced herself and her teaching method. I was given the choice of three textbook series and was helped to choose the best option for my learning style. We set a target of reaching A1 level within 6 months with 3 x 1-hour lessons per week.
Panagiota was flexible with my pace of learning, reducing homework if I had a busy period or increasing the workload if I was making good progress. I was always challenged but never stressed or falling behind.
Now at the end of the 6-month package, we far exceeded the target of attaining A1 and I am now revising for the A2 exam! I attribute this to Panagiota’s skill in explaining the content and her ability to recognise where I had mastered a chapter or needed to go over a topic again.
In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend Panagiota to anyone wishing to learn Greek in a fun and comprehensive way!

Panagiota is very committed to her work as a teacher. I have been taking lessons with her for some time now at C1-C2 level and have learned a lot so far. She uses excellent textbooks, gives homework, which helps you progress more quickly, is dynamic and cheerful. I highly recommend her!
