Chill but Effective Japanese Lessons 🎯 | Beginner to Advanced | Real Results Hello! I’m Kohei, originally from Kyoto and currently based in the Netherlands. I work as a Japanese language teacher, and also active as a music producer, performer. My lessons are relaxed and friendly, but also structured to make sure you improve step by step. I have a wide range of interests, including travel, movies, novels... I enjoy bringing these topics into my lessons to make learning Japanese more fun and engaging. We’ll start by practising basic conversation—covering the 5W1H and greetings—to build a foundation. After that, we’ll discuss whether you’d like to learn Japanese for travel, study grammar from the basics, or learn words used by samurai and ninjas (I’ve actually had a student who wanted to do this). I have taught Japanese to more than 50 students both in Japan and abroad. My teaching experience includes helping students prepare for the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) and supporting students who were studying Japanese for entrance exams to Japanese high schools.While living overseas, I also had the opportunity to teach Japanese at local schools using English. Through these experiences, I have worked with students from different backgrounds. Materials If you don’t have a textbook, no problem! I usually use: Minna no Nihongo Genki But I can also provide equivalent materials to your level and goals.
