I've taken a few lessons with this teacher now and I always really enjoy them. He comes prepared with materials and gives me thorough notes after class so that I can just focus on speaking during class. Very patient and helpful, giving me the opportunity to try to find the right words but also stepping in to help when I need it.

I just had my very first lesson in Taiwanese Hokkien with this very encouraging & fun teacher. This language has been on my mind on & off for around 20 years, but I've never got very far because the lack of established study resources & available teachers was demotivating. Well, today's introduction was very organised & systematic, but it has also left me cheerful & hopeful that I will actually see results after only dreaming about speaking Hokkien for so long. I could also wholeheartedly recommend this teacher for Mandarin, if that's what you're looking for 😊

I was very impressed with the lesson and format presented. It’s certainly difficult to learn a new language but the lesson was engaging. I’m trying to brush up on mandarin while learning Taiwanese and this format is perfect. Leo is professional and encouraging! I feel like no time is wasted in class and it’s very efficient.
