I want to teach Japanese because I think Japanese is a difficult language to master without guidance. I mainly focus on having a conversation with my students so that students not only learn the language but more about Japan as a country and the culture. During this lesson, we practiced reading and speaking and I learnt new words and expressions related to my interests and hobbies.
I worry about making mistakes sometimes, but the teacher was very encouraging and supportive, so the lesson was fun and enjoyable!

Truly amazing. I am an absolute beginner, and Kuni thought me so much in the first session. He makes an effort to personalize the lesson to what you are looking to learn/achieve in the long-term. He also makes the lesson fun! I had tried another instructor on italki, but they weren't skilled at teaching a beginning student or personalizing the agenda. Very happy that I found Kuni - would wholeheartedly recommend him - and will continue to use him in the future.
