Moien! My name is Eugene. As a Luxembourgish tutor, I specialize in helping beginners navigate the beautiful complexities of this unique language. My approach to teaching is fuelled by my own obsession with language learning; I’m constantly exploring new linguistic structures, which helps me understand exactly where students might struggle. When I’m not teaching, I’m usually deep in a creative writing project or building software. I find that the logic of programming and the rhythm of a good story both help me be a more precise and engaging tutor for my students.

I bring six years of teaching expertise to the table, having coached students through a variety of subjects and multiple languages. My teaching style is grounded in the latest pedagogical standards; I recently refined my methodology to incorporate TEFL-certified strategies, specifically the PPP model. By structuring lessons around clear presentation and guided practice, I ensure that my students don't just learn the rules of a language—they actually gain the fluency to use it in real-world scenarios. My goal is to provide a high-level, structured environment where progress is both measurable and steady.

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

I like to have the students engaging in the language on their own to allow them a chance to think in the language on their own. I also like to use visuals to assist with teaching, so that students can see the conjugations of a verb, or learn the meaning of a word by what they see as oppose to just translating.
