Ciao :) I'm Diana, I'm a native italian speaker, Intercultural Communication graduate, and I'm an Italian language tutor.
My passion for foreign languages started long ago when I was a child, thanks to my mom who is Brazilian, and would speak to me in Portuguese since day 1. I have been exposed to foreign languages ever since, and just like this I developed a passion for learning new languages, from Japanese that I studied at University, to English and French that I studied by myself.
I also did cultural and linguistic exchange programs troughout my life, from UK exchange student programs during high school, to my latest volunteering experience in France
Ich als Lehrkraft
I know well how challenging it can be to learn a new language and to get immersed in another culture. For this reason I'm going to guide you and assist you in your learning path to become a well rounded italian speaker and to achieve your linguistic goals.
Together we will discuss about many interesting topics and learn about each other's cultures, making learning an effective and fun way to explore new things .
I will also give you practical tips and notions about italian way of life, societal norms, italian history and cultural events, so you will feel like a true italian.
Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
My teaching approach is based on:
- clear explanations and exercises to build the linguistic pillars of grammar and vocabulary
- chatting about fun and interesting themes (movies, books, media, travels, hobbies, current events...) to improve your pronounciation, comprehension and expression
- real-life conversational role plays if you have specific needs (academics, work, job interviews, travels...) to have you prepared for whatever you will have to encounter
I plan each lesson to match the student’s goals and level, creating a relaxed environment where learning feels natural and enjoyable.
