I had a really good time learning, and building the foundation that I came with. We were able begin by filling in the gaps and working on the fundamentals of the material I brought. I was provided incredible learning material, and a plan for future lessons. I look forward to working and taking my German to the next level of speaking and writing.

Ich mag den Unterricht mit Anja sehr 😊 Die Atmosphäre im Unterricht ist super, deshalb habe ich keine Angst, Deutsch zu sprechen oder Fehler zu machen. Sie erklärt alles ruhig und schreibt während des Unterrichts Notizen mit, sodass ich später alles leicht wiederholen kann. Ich werde sehr gerne weiter mit Anja lernen!

I have taken several lessons now, and I am constantly impressed by my teacher’s willingness to adapt to my unique style of learning. I’m given the opportunity to make mistakes and use the German I currently know in an encouraging environment filled with positive reinforcement and constructive guidance that helps me build a strong foundation while also learning new and exciting ways to express my thoughts and ideas. I truly look forward to continuing to learn and taking my German to the next level. I am happy to be learning from someone who is as excited about teaching as I am about learning.

I am always appreciative that I am meet and reciprocated at a level that meets me and pushes me further each time. I can see the changes and growth in my learning and understanding in the smallest but most meaningful ways.

I realized that I wasn’t just learning German but I was also going back to learning my own native language staring with grammar basics making me not only only better at speaking and understanding ideas but building a system that I am able to use to tackle learning German and the complexity that comes. Each lesson continues to meet me at my level and when finished elevates me to the next level. I look forward to working and continuing this journey of learning.

I showed up to class well prepared and excited to present my work. My enthusiasm was meet with encouragement to try and figure it out before being offered insight help and structure to build stronger ideas and sentences. I appreciate her being patient and understanding tailoring the lessons to my needs. I look forward to the next lesson.
